Several pitchers from the Brighton Ballers came to speak at the debt consolidation loan camp in Brookline yesterday. The pitchers were part of a guest lecture series that brings washed up athletes to speak to to real people about the dangers of debt. They all believe that a debt consolidation loan is the most reliable way to break free from the annoyance and harassment of creditors. Enjoy!

"Debt sucks folks. Like having men on first and third with no outs and having the clean up batter step into the box. When hairy situations present themselves you just have to dig deep, rear back and throw a big debt consolidation loan at them, like when my wife divorced me and I turned to alcohol and blew my salary on comic books," said lefty reliever Steve Stank.

The debt consolidation loan camp is set up for people of all kinds to come and learn all about debt, loans, and consolidating those debts with a loan. "This camp rules," said first time attendee Barbara Rock. "I learned how bad I was at handling my money but know I have a whole new outlook on life."

Crafty veteran Mike Strike led the team in wins last season and provided the most solid advice for the campers.

"There's three rules I live my life by.

1. Don't trust your accountant. I'm still paying back taxes from '88.
2. Always leave the seat up. And
3. Talk to someone smart about a debt consolidation loan. It might save your life or job or marriage even though it didn't for me.

As far as I can tell, the Debt Consolidation Camp was a huge success. I know what I'm doing tonight! Consolidating my debt obviously.
